Topps is an ideal choice for heroes who want to be in the middle of the action. Topps deals damage to nearby enemies, slows nearby enemies, and provides a boost in Power which should allow you to invest more gold into defense. Topps can make an imposing hero even more scary.

Welcome!

Hello my name is Woopadia and this is my first guide ever so I hope you have enjoyed it so far! I personally have played this game for 4 - 5 months now and I really don't like that this game has died but anyway Bo is my favorite character as of right now and I have him about 3 stars of mastery, I hope you like the rest of the guide! Any feedback would be great!

Why pick Bo?

Bo is really good at ganking in the mid game with bull rush and he can change the tide of battle with it too, this means your team will have an easier time winning team fights!

Why Topps? And any other pet choices?

Topps is all Bo needs, some extra damage, a slow if your everwinter is on cooldown, Topps also allows Bo to invest in more defensive items such as golden protector.
As for other pets I like Fits too becuase of the ganking potential, and the gold you get from a successful gank. But Bounder it good to for the slow and extra mobility outside of bull rush or rocket boots.

Abilities.

Both Q and W are great and useful abilities, But I like maxing Q first because of the poke in lane, and W second for the stun to set up a good bull rush, your E is not very good at the start of the match because it heals max health, and since everybody has low HP you don't heal that much but you can still get a level of it at level 4, And your R is of course a game changer so you should get it whenever possible.

you commented on my guide so i think is my turn now, first of all i would like to talk about your starting item and leveling up order:

1. the item: while crystalline shiv is a good item, it is not a good choice for meele heroes because you will usually loose some hp (and for that power and mana regen) before giving a hit to the opponent, it could have been cool if you had leveled the healing ability at level 2-4 but you didn't . the throwing axe is a overall better choice but shines more on carry heroes.

2. the leveling: it's ok but not with that starting item as i said up there.

3. Early game: 3 cheap items on early game ? never get that much man, just rush up the cloak. the everwinter charm is a bad overall item, for armor even vampiric dagger of thirst (power 1 + power 3) can get you more armor, damage and sustain overall. as a side note you lack stun removal, add up a oracle's trinket or the inertia boots. the rocket boots just take too much money for the little benefice they add.

4. mid to late game: while all of the items are ok i would allways rush up an iceforge plate over the golden protector since it gives more armor overall, all the other things are ok but i don't like inferno brand that much since gives too little bonus, even the barrier token can give more damage reduction.

5. "Heavy" armor: i would allways carry these 2 armors allways together to keep myself unkillable, as a side note a barrier token of warding + iceforged plate of desperation is enough to beat in 1 v 2(or even 3 if you get vampiric dagger of thirst) most AP teams, but be careful with full power users (yea, those players that wear an random item like diadem with only power components).

6. "If you want damage": grimoire in bo ?!!! WTF, i know bo abilitys do magic damage but power conduit outclasses it overall.

7. situational: i agree mostly, but you should carry always stun removal on any game on my opinion, more that nothing because you are meele.

8. example final build: good overall, as i said iceforged>golden protector and no cc break but yes, is an average build.

what you lack: luxury and alternative choices

I feel kind of trashy for not doing a better job on my build, because mainly i don't specify what i like to do in lane or other things during the game. Also I should take another look at the build,

I do like you point on shiv because it makes since but I like to have a ranged carry in lane to last hit while I poke out the enemies stopping them from last hitting, this build is good (in my opinion) at ganking early then building tanky for fights late game because of the more levels in Q and W, but a point in E never hurts, but I never find a good time to use it, but I do think in some cases it is good to get E earlier, at level 4 is what I like mainly.

Probably should have specified that you should get boots(ill get on the boots point in a sec) then pic one of the early game items, if your carry is doing great and isn't having a hard lane then ganks will be a lot better with everwinter charm because unlike your point on vampiric dagger(which a good point on its own) charm makes it easier to get in melee range, you gank use charm then Q when the try to escape, but as for a bit of a different situation, just pick up cloak.

Now as for the boots, its up to pet choices a lot(my fault didn't specify in guide sorry) but rocket boots are good for ganks but other boots are nice, but you can get pincer in that case if you want cc removal, fits is always good for ganks, and bounder is like and alternative rocket boots, its just nice having the added mobility and added with your slows and stun and push it will improve your ganks and fights a lot in my experience, and obviously you could at oracle's on top of all of this.

For the point in the mid to late game, the heavy ad and ap team items are all viable to go with at any point in the mid to late game, all those items are what you want or not, if you like iceforge then go iceforge after cloak and boots, the passive is great for getting in and the armor is nice, and you can get rid of charm later for iceforge or whatever item you want.

I have to admit i thought it was really funny for your comment on grimoire, but back to the matter at hand, I like to get it if I don't want to sacrifice as much gold on a damage item, so I can input more into defense.

really the luxury and the alternative items are the full ap and ad team items.

again I'm sorry for not making a beautiful guide and I need to edit it some more, Thanks for the feedback, and I'm also sorry for not giving some really good feedback on your build because I just liked the build and didn't think it needed to add anything, also I'm not as experienced with the armor and defense charts all that much yet, (I know even after 5 months of playing the game).

also I want to add I check my guide and other guides every 3 days or so, so my feedback will not always be instant.
